The grade 4s are working on their fractions lap book at the moment ( Refer Paula's Place on TPT)
The younger kids were busy in the sand pit using the new tools I bought them.
We had a fire near the school today. I'm not sure if the wind blew a branch onto power lines or if the local farmer was burning off on the side of the road on the weekend and didn't make sure it was extinguished. ( He has a sorry history doing that!) Anyway I called 000 and got the fire brigade out to put it out. ( pictures below)
Note the tree on the 45 degree angle.
